The creative mind behind Made in the woodshed. Helen discovered woodworking in 2019 whilst on holiday in France. Instead of relaxing and kicking back, she spent her days in a barn learning the basics of woodwork. Gradually over the last couple of years woodwork has developed into her passion. She now spends every weekend and spare moment creating beautiful contemporary homeware in her little woodshed come rain or shine.

Being an all round creative person Helen has always had an affinity for minimalist stylish interiors. However her equally as strong love for natural materials has driven her to combine the two and create inspiring, quirky sustainable designs for the modern home.

I’m Helen’s daughter. I handle the faffy stuff as my Mum likes to call it. The social media, photo taking, website side of things so my Mum can focus on what she loves. Creating beautiful works of art in her wood shed. I’ve spent the last 7 years as a full time photographer, so I have plenty of experience with branding, marketing and styling. It seemed fitting that I took on the day to day workings of Made in the woodshed. And I LOVE it! Getting to work with my bloody awesome Mum is just an added bonus!
